Third State is a 7 barrel brewery conveniently located in Historic Burlington, New Jersey – just steps away from the Burlington Towne Center Riverline stop. Opened in June 2015, the brewery is owned and operated by founders Bill Pozniak, Jay Mahoney and John O'Brien.  With combined home-brewing experience of nearly 50 years, Third State brews a wide variety of high quality craft beers including a number of award winning recipes.


Third State also offers a comfortable, family friendly downtown tasting room in the Historic District of Burlington City NJ.  Settled in 1677 and incorporated in 1693, Burlington is one of the oldest towns in New Jersey and served as the capital of West Jersey until 1702 when West Jersey and East Jersey were combined into a single Crown Colony.  The city's history continues to be evident in the historic homes and buildings located throughout the area, and has been home to many famous early Americans including Elijas Boudinot, Issac Collins, Benjamin and William Franklin, James Fenimore Cooper, Oliver Cromwell, Ulysses Grant and James Lawrence.
