State & National Parks

Union County offers the Watchung Reservation, part of the Union County Park System, which provides miles of hiking trails, a scenic lake, and the Trailside Nature & Science Center. While not a state or national park, Watchung Reservation is the largest park in Union County and offers a variety of outdoor activities, including birdwatching, horseback riding, and picnicking.
