History

Hudson County features a number of significant historic sites. Liberty State Park in Jersey City is not only a place of natural beauty but also home to the historic Central Railroad of New Jersey Terminal, where millions of immigrants began their American journey. The Hoboken Historical Museum offers exhibits on local history, including the birthplace of baseball and Frank Sinatra.
